WIP #11

All right, so a few new project on my list.  Well, more than a few since the holiday season is fast approaching.  Obviously I will not be able to name them all here on account of recepients of those gifts read this blog, but I will throw in a peek at a few here and there...

A shirt for my husband (not a Christmas gift.)

It's my first attempt at any sort of "advanced" apparel, so I'm a bit nervous about the whole thing.  All the pieces have been cut out, I just need to start sewing them together.  But every time I get up the nerve to begin the next process I remember this...

My warm/cool quilt top is almost done!  I'll give you a little sneak peek as this will be going to someone for Christmas....

I had changed my mind on using solely vintage prints and chose to do a more scrappy look; warm/cool blocks are in a zig zag pattern.

Projects in progress:
Warm, cool quilt (almost there)
Kaleidoscope quilt (behind)
Skill Builder Sampler (behind)
Daisy chain ABC's sampler

Not started:
Bottled Rainbow quilt
Princess Pea quilt (waiting for a bit more fabric to arrive.)

Quilt/Bind:
I spy quilt
Log cabin quilt

Currently on hold:
Beatrix Potter quilt (working up design)
Barn quilt

This week's stats:
New projects: we'll say one for now...
In progress: 4
Not started: 2
Quilt/bind: 2
On hold: 2

I will update new projects better next week.  Linking up to other great projects at Freshly Pieced.

You are brave for making your man a shirt. I would be so nervous because mine is so picky. I'm looking forward to seeing it all done and maybe I'll be brave someday too.

Your reference to the cosby show made me laugh out loud! Seriously, it's not that hard, just take a deep breath and read the directions a couple times before you start...and if you get stuck ask your mom for help (that's what I do!) but it can be a little tricky now and again so keep that seam ripper handy and don't be ashamed to use it!
