WIP #7

New projects: Bottled Rainbow quilt.  I've seen quite a few of these completed and just had to do one myself!  Just looking at all these bright colors put a big smile on my face!

I call my daughter Princess Pea, so I figured a princess pea quilt would be a perfect first quilt for my little one.  Her first birthday is Sunday.  Obviously  I will not have the quilt done by then, but hopefully (fingers crossed) by Christmas.

Projects in the works: Warm cool quilt along (changing fabric choice on this one.  Good thing I didn't cut into anything yet.)
Kaleidoscope quilt along
Skill Builder Sampler
Daisy chain ABC Sampler
Lydia's apron

Quilt and Bind:
I Spy quilt
Log cabin quilt

On hold:
Double size Beatrix Potter quilt (design in process)
Barn quilt

This week's stats:
completed: 0
new projects: 2
in the works: 5
quilting/binding: 2
on hold: 2

I thought I was the only one still working on a bottled rainbow quilt! What a relief. :P I'm having a blast working on it. If you find you run short on scraps for some of the blocks, let me know. If I have some that match, I'd love to send them your way.

You'll love doing the Bottled Rainbows quilt! I've seen so many of those around the internet and was always tempted by it. Rachel runs a great QA. And happy birthday (a day late) to your daughter. My oldest turned 5 today! I can hardly believe it!

Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )
